The Ruvi Smoothie

It is hard to get your fruits and veggies in some days, we all get that. But does it have to be? Ruvi is an awesome way to jump start your day with your needed fruits and veggies.


What is RUVI


Ruvi is a powdered mix of freeze-dried fruits and veggies all in a packet ready to mix into water, or milk. There is no added sugar, no preservatives, no artificial flavors, and it's non-GMO, gluten free, vegan, plant based, with all the fiber. Awesome right? I love when I can read the back of a label and know exactly what I am putting into my body and the tiny bodies of my kiddos.


Ruvi has four flavors to choose from.


Active- Charge Your Heart

(Fuji Apple, Tart Cherry, Carrot, Raspberry, Butternut Squash, Strawberry, Beet, Tomato)

Focus- Energy for Your Brain

(Blueberry, Grape, Blackberry, Banana, Strawberry, Broccoli, Zucchini, Spinach, Acai, Maqui Berry)

Boost- Immune and Skin

(Banana, Carrot, Mango, Peach, Pineapple, Butternut Squash, Kiwi, Orange)

Clean- Detox and Cleanse

(Grape, Fuji Apple, Banana, Zucchini, Cucumber, Granny Smith Apple, Spinach, Kale, Moringa)


I have personally tried each one and have enjoyed them all.



Who doesn't love a tasty, nutritious smoothie?Especially one that you can whip together quick and on the go. Ruvi is very versatile, in that you can dump a pouch in with water and off you go. Or you can spice it up and make it a protein smoothie. We love the feeling of getting in our fruits and veggies, but just recently we decided to try Ruvi as a smoothie, with almond milk and our plant-based protein powder. Mmm it was lip smacking good!


The RUVI Smoothie


Earlier this week I was making my Ruvi smoothie for breakfast and my youngest (who is 2) helped me drink it up. *When I say help, I think I got 2 or 3 sips ;). Our kiddos love these Ruvi smoothies as much as we do, and we have to fight to get our share.



Ingredients

Just 4 simple ingredients.

  • Your choice of a Ruvi Packet.

  • 1 cup milk of choice (we love almond milk)

  • 1-2 scoops vanilla protein powder

  • shaker bottle



Directions


Directions

  1. Pick which Ruvi packet you would like. Active, Focus, Boost or Clean.

  2. Grab your shaker bottle and fill it with your milk of choice to 8 oz (I sometimes will go to 10 oz just to make it thinner)

  3. pour in your Ruvi packet and your protein powder.

  4. Shake, shake, shake.

  5. Sip and enjoy!


These smoothies shake up so nice, but you do have to shake it good in order to prevent getting clumps. But if you do shake it good, mmm you are going to love the smooth and clean feeling of the Ruvi smoothie. Try it and let us know what you think.
